A journey that changed my life.
I've been playing tabletop RPGs since the late 80s — starting with Bard's Tale on the Commodore 64. When a friend introduced me to actual pen & paper, I was immediately hooked. Dungeons & Dragons, Das Schwarze Auge, Call of Cthulhu, Shadowrun, Midgard.
At some point I noticed the ambient music people were using for their sessions didn't match the worlds we were building. So I started writing my own — and d20sounds was born.
Today I've written over 100 tracks for the TTRPG community, 4 original musicals, and commissioned scores for the Dusseldorfer Schauspielhaus. Patron support means I can keep improving my studio and keep this music coming.
